| HS612 is an alcoholic solution of Orcein (synthetic) and hydrochloric acid. Its principal use is for the detection of hepatitis B surface antigen in infected liver cells (ground glass cells). It may also be used in histological staining procedures to differentiate elastin fibres in tissue sections. | ||
